Admission

The Ohio T2T program seeks applicants interested in working with students in grades K-12 who have a variety of disability conditions. If you are an experienced professional or a recent college graduate with a bachelor’s degree or higher in any field other than education, or are working in an Ohio school district as a paraprofessional or teacher aide/assistant and have a 4 year degree, consider applying to become a T2T participant.

Requirements for entry into the T2T program include:

  1. Being accepted into the University of Dayton Graduate School;
  2. Passing all three sections of the Praxis I skills test;
  3. Passing required background checks (i.e., Ohio civilian and FBI criminal background checks);
  4. Interviewing with and being selected by a T2T partner school district as a participant; and
  5. Agreeing to work for three years in a high-need Ohio school district upon program completion.
